Ancient old growth trees from the Driftless region of the Upper Midwest yielded wonderful wide planks like this. Originally harvested by hand and hauled by horse these wide boards formed the floor for a small dairy barn in Wisconsin. This unique coffee table is made from a single slab of century old barn flooring. The trough you see played a part in the erection process, facilitating the tipping up very tall walls with horses and pikes. We've lined the bottom with aged copper.

WOOD FINISHES
We use a very tough, low VOC, non toxic Enduro-Var that binds the wood fibers. We have smoothed and flattened the top surface so you can set glasses on it. Each piece IS DIFFERENT and has its own story and history. Like all reclaimed, upcycled, repurposed and recycled products there are flaws and nicks and knotholes. It's not Ikea.
